Nope! 💪 In fact the residential real estate in Brunswick County topped over $100 million in total sales volume.

“February’s sales numbers were so strong that I ran them multiple times to make sure they were accurate,” said BCAR CEO Cynthia Walsh. “February was the strongest month we’ve seen in over 14 years. 💪💪💪 Brunswick County’s market is simply red-hot 🔥🔥🔥 as we approach Spring 🌼🌼🌼.”

February 2020 absolutely ⚔️ SLAYED ⚔️ February 2019 in Total Home Sales :


February 2020: $106,050,000

February 2019: $70,250,000


THAT's a 51% INCREASE people.

Absolutely 🍌🍌🍌(bananas)!

Another big time JUMP was the increase in the number of units sold:

  • February 2020: 352

  • February 2019: 260

  • Increase of 35.4% 🆙

The average sale price increased 9.5%, from $270,187 to $295,910, with 21% of sales in the $300,000 to $499,000 price range and 37 homes selling for $500,000 or more.

Average Sales Price

  • February 2020: $295,910

  • February 2019: $270,187

  • Increase: +9.5%

New Listings

  • February 2020: 589

  • February 2019: 566

  • Increase: +4.1%
