If you’re searching for new construction homes in Sunset Beach, North Carolina you may have already discovered one of the most frustrating parts of shopping for a brand-new home online:


The pictures you’re looking at may not actually be pictures of the house you’re interested in.


Builders often use representative photos, photos of the same floor plan built somewhere else, model-home photography, or renderings. Sometimes it can even be difficult to tell whether a particular inventory home is actually built yet.


And the LOT? That can be even harder to understand from a builder website or community sitemap.


That is exactly why I film these homes.


In this video, I’m walking you through an actual Angler home in Haddington Place at Ocean Ridge in Sunset Beach, NC, and I’m showing you the things you simply cannot figure out from a floor plan or a little dot on a builder’s sitemap.


This particular Angler has a really interesting homesite with pond views beside the home, additional water behind it, a large side yard, and no home immediately to the left. I walk the entire property so you can see the backyard size, the slope of the land, the relationship between the house and the neighboring lots, the side-load garage, the view from the front porch, and what you actually see from inside the home.


Then we head inside for the full tour, including:
